VISTARA provides top notch flying experience to its guests even in short haul flights , it gives competition to other globally ranked airlines. Many of them  are overrated.  Going by their track record VISTARA can beat the others.

VISTARA has the advantage of great ground staff, which are thorough professionals and courteous. The cabin crew are again very thorough professionals and have a flair for looking after guests’ comfort and needs. They don’t have any stiff neck while serving guests, which is again a plus point and cockpit crew is very professional, easy while talking on PA sharing feedback on flight status, flight path etc and above all the perfect take off and copy book touch down.

The in-flight food quality is superb while the need of the hour is to put more variety in the menu and buns of a more superior bakery. The food service is good and the  tray clearance is also quick and even open for some extra helpings if required. The cabin crew is very sharp and they make mental note of the request made by the passengers and try to attend it during the flight. In fact they are the perfect example of what the cabin crew should be like.

The only drawback is the utter highhandedness of the other supporting staff who are from an outsourced company. They need to trained on certain aspects and one of the most important is guests relation,

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), The national flag carrier, has won the 2019’s ‘Most Popular Airlines Award’ and its CEO Mr. Madan Kharel has won “Airline CEO of the Year “ at an impressive award presentation ceremony organized by Team ACBA at Soaltee Crowne Plaza hotel, Kathmandu Nepal on 17th Dec 2019. Team ACBAs chief Mr. Tps Grrover, presented these awards.

The Association prepared video clips of several kinds services given by the NAC during its international flights and the award was decided on the basis of public votes, according to NAC. These awards were decided to be presented to NAC, being based on comments by over 450 Team ACBAs airlines bloggers, commentators, passengers and aviation journalists.

Airlines companies employees’ and crew members’ treatment towards passengers, air service, quality of food served during flight, entertainment factor, service safety, seat quality and price are among the standard for the award selection.

Prior to this, Thai Air and Fin Air bagged the award.

Best connection to Dubai…….

Team ACBA reviewed Delhi-Dubai-Delhi sectors of Jet Airways. The Delhi-Dubai flight 9W 588 on 14th March from IGIA T3 terminal, Delhi. The usual great rush of passengers at the check in counters. Many counters were operational and ground staff was attention to the needs of the passengers and other staff was helping passengers with visa verification procedure, before check in. The staff at heck in counters were very quick to issue boarding cards and other necessary formalities. The flight was on time and take off very smooth. Within no minutes water was served to passengers without even asking for it. As soon as the flight was stable the snacks were served. The meal was piping hot and tasty. The cabin crew was very professional & looked after the passengers well, led by Mr. Paras. The touch down at Dubai airport was perfect and on time. Overall a perfect journey from Delhi to Delhi.

Special mention of :Ms. Sheetal, Ms. Dolly & other members of ground staff at Delhi.

Return journey from Dubai to Delhi by 9W 547 on 18th March. The ground staff at the Dubai terminal, Area 2, was exceptionally well versed with passengers handling and expert in listening to passengers needs and preferences.

There was huge rush of passengers for 2 flights from Dubai. One was for Delhi (on time departure) and second one was for Mumbai (delayed). The ground staff handled some agitated passengers of Mumbai flight very well and shared with the reason of delay. Great work. The check in was quick & smooth and flight was on time. The boarding started well in time and plane took off at the right time. The cabin crew was good and dinner was served in no time along with soft/ hard beverages. Handled well , the ever demanding passengers for hard drinks. The landing was perfect and was on before arrival time. Overall a great experience.

Team ACBA has been reviewing various sectors of various airlines all over the globe, for the last so many years and promoting and presenting good work done by different airlines and also pointing out grey areas of many airlines.
Team ACBA recently reviewed above listed sectors of ETIHAD and greatly impressed by their services. During our of this airlines, We found that each and every employee is contributing towards the success of this airlines, whether it is porters; ground crew; cabin crew; guest relations team & all other departments. During our interaction, with the randomly selected staffers, with ETIHAD, they all feel proud, to be working with this airlines.

Good to see good, well maintained aircraft’s, like Airbus 321 and Boeing 777 used, for the above listed sectors. The cabins were clean and interiors were excellent. The only thing needs attention,  is to improve in flight entertainment system. The in flight path software needs latest update.
There was clear marking for the passengers, to go in for their check in procedures. The staffers were guiding & greeting them smile. The staff at the check in counters , were also discharging their duties, in the most professional manners, keeping in view the passenger’s request for seat allocations or someone who needs special attention. The Duty managers along with their seniors were present at all the three airports; Delhi,  Abu Dhabi & Doha.

During each sector, the cabin crew did remarkably well. They attended to each and every passenger with ease and smile. They were quick in serving water, as soon as the passengers took their seats. The food service was quick and were regularly asks passengers with their food preferences and drinks, soft or otherwise.

On all the 4 sectors departures and arrivals were on time. The captain; co pilot were constantly on the PA system to apprise the passengers about the flight status and other details, which was quite appreciated by one and all. During Abu Dhabi-Delhi sector, the touchdown/ landing was , one of the most perfect one.

A 380 experience

I have been reviewing many airlines and many sectors but got the opportunity to first time experience on Air Bus A 380, the biggest passenger airliner in the world. It has suites; cabins; business; first class; premium economy and economy class.

I had the option, of choosing any type of flying options, but I chose Economy class bcoz, it is the place the review exact status of in flight services and other parameters of the airlines. In Singapore Airlines economy class has the wide seats, comfortable leg space and excellent video screen. The cabin crew , was the epitome of the great hospitality and first class in flight services, truly awarded the best in flight services.

From the check in counters at Delhi and Changi airports, to the boarding of the aircraft and the landing, was pitch perfect. My fellow passengers were eager to taste various wines and other drinks, were met with and food was tasty, keeping in view the Indian and international likings. But dear readers, one thing you can’t avoid and that is the DELAY IN FLIGHT DUE TO LATE ARRIVAL OF THE AIRCRAFT . I think, this has been a regular excuse for the airlines, to cover their non adherence to the schedule arrivals/ departures. My flight SQ 403 to Singapore, got delayed by more than one hour.

One journey is not enough to check all the services of the huge A 380 plance, however, I will sure will present the in flight review of business/ first/ suites of this Singapore Airlines.
